Chicago/Earth, Wind & Fire Concert - PNC Bank Arts, Homdel, NJ

Just got back from it. The only words I can think of for it are: MIND BLOWING.

This concert was absolutely mind blowing. Both bands have been around for decades and still sound amazing. If you like classic rock and soul and disco/motown then this is the concert to see. It gives you the best of both worlds. and Phillip Bailey was great, he still hasn't lost his touch.

If you find this concert in your area (touring nationwide i believe) then I highly suggest seeing them if you like both those genres.

Chicago was also amazing, such great music.

What they did was they started off with "Only The Beginning" by Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire together. Then Earth, Wind & Fire went next and played a whole crap load of amazing songs, new and old. Intermission, then Chicago went, played a crap load of their classic songs. Then for the finale, they alternated a song from each band and played and sang together, it was great.

Again, highly suggest this concert!

I got a question about that place. I'm going to ozzfest on the 26th and splurged getting the best seats in the house. How's the layout? Does it look like they take out the seating or something close to the stage? I'm a bit confused as I don't think they'd have people sitting in seats right by the stage with metal bands playing.

There's some room for people up front to stand but not much, people were standing for both Chicago and Earth Wind & Fire, but it looked like only 100 tops can fit in the front before getting into the seats. But I couldn't see very well, we were about 20 something rows back, too far to really really tell.
