Cognito's good, but I believe make 7 inches and up. Pro-Comp is great for a 6" lift. A friend of mine has a 6" with 18" wheels and 35's.

THERE ARE A BUNCH OF MANUFACTURERS THAT ARE OFFEREING A 4-6" LIFT KITS. IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU REALLY WANT. PERFORMANCE OR JUST LOOOKS? THEY ALSO OFFER ALOT OF MODS TO THEM ASWELL LIKE DUAL SHOCKS IN THE FRONT, COIL OVERS FOR SOME, ETC. HOW MUCH YOU LOOKING TO SPEND AND WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AT? I WORK AT A SHOP.

price is not realy a factor, i dont mind spending 1-2 g's on the lift alone. it is mostly for looks, the truck will not be used for off roading or anything. 4" would be ideal...does rancho make their 4" lift for the 06 silverado 1500?

UM I THINK THEY ONLY OFFER ONE FOR A 4WD SILVERADO? IS YOUR 2WD OR 4WD? THE EASIEST WAY TO SAVE YOU MONEY IS JUST TO DO A SPINDLE LIFT OF LIKE 3" BUT GET LIKE CST SPINDLES. UM LOOK AROUND I KNOW THERE ARE MORE LIFTS TO COME SINCE SEMA ENDED. THERE ARE SOO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF LIFTS OUT THERE NOW. IF YOU NEED SOME ONE TO BUY THE LIFT OFF OF I CAN GET PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING THAT IS OUT THERE. SO LET ME KNOW
