Parts upgrade inquiry...

Okay, so I'm generating a list of parts I want to grab or just line out and compare before I start seriously modifying my car. One wierd question came to mind about the speedometer. I've heard of some guys with a turbocharged V6 running into invalid dyno runs because of the speed limiter cutting delivery as it approaches 120. Is there a way to disable this or get a different gauge cluster from an LS1, or would there be conflicts with the ECU or any other components?

Secondly, does anybody have any experience with the latest Series III Supercharged V6 that seems to be available in a few of the other GM cars (Grand prix, bonnevile)?

Lastly, I am looking for a proven suspension kit that is worthy of the street and the track. I am gearing up for auto cross and maybe a dabble at the strip, but I want a bit more corner carving confidence in my rolling F-body. And would you recommend grabbing a richmond 6 speed tranny or something from somewhere else?

Just to clear things up, I drive a 2000 Firebird V6.

Well, I'm waiting on an answer from somebody that did alot of One Lap Racing in a Firebird over the past few years (now in a Z06). I guess as far as the other info, I won't know until I try it...
