Last saturday I was driving home with my girlfriend. I had all the windows down as well as the sunroof. We were stopped at an intersection on a 3 lane street. We were in the middle lane and the right lane was ending not too long after the intersection.

Yes, it was one of those races again.

We were minding our own business when an LT1 Camaro got in the right lane after being behind us for a few seconds. Oh you won't I said. Light turns green and I slowly feather the clutch without letting off too much noise from the tires. The streets fill with noise as this V8 american muscle tries to pass my Nazi V8 family Sedan. But it wasn't his day today. We both chirp second and I slowly start gaining on him. Halfway through second he was by my rear fender. I move over to the left so he can merge and put it in third. That's when I gain a good car and a half on him. I hear a "holly shit" escape from my beautiful bitch. "Not today" I say to my girlfriend "not today." By 95 I'm clearly ahead so I slow down. He makes a right at the next light probably thinking "I just lost to a family sedan".

That was the funnest race I've had with the 540 so far.
