Got my 6th Moving Violation today

Yup my sixth, i'm not complaining, i was actually laughing after this one cause i'm so used to signing that little white hard copy. I had the cruise control set at 65 driving through Tolono towards Champaign on route 45 and these kids pull along side of me in an older Galant, and start trying to egg me into a race, i dont bite. So they take off and speed ahead of me, and not 10 seconds down the road after that i see the flashing lights in the mirror, so i pull over thinking that i still have the last three moving violations on my record, so i was a little nervous, and explained to the state trooper my situation, he was a pretty nice guy, a lot better than the last dude who pulled me over. Turns out after he checked my driving record there was only one moving violation on there *wipes sweat away*. So he gave me the $75 ticket and i'm just gonna get court supervision this time instead of fighting it with my lawyer cause that's getting expensive. I just thought it was funny he singled me out on this one. He even complemented my car...it was some older guy. Anyway i'm gonna start putting all my tickets on the dash of my car at car shows...kinda like trophy's.

And i realized how much that would suck so i just coasted over to the side of the road.

So what did he pull you over for? For going 65? Why didn't he go after the kids in the Galant?

Because their car looked so much cooler than his. And we all know, you just can't pull over the cooler looking car .

Josh has terrets syndrome, and when passing the highway patrol officer he yelled out "goddamn mothershitbag pig sucker!"

I'd say that too if you just found out you were adopted.

Re: Got my 6th Moving Violation today

Pulled you over doing 65 in a 55 huh. Damn, that sucks man.

In Az you usually don't get messed with untill you're 15 or more over (unless in Scottsdale, then they pull you over for anything they want to). Most of our freeways are all 65 mph limits anyway, so you see a lot of ppl getting away with 80+. Our highways are my favorite though...75 mph limits on those, which means 85-90 is the norm outside of town.

Those tickets are a real pain....in the states does your insurance skyrocket witha ticket? cause it does here in Canada

and I know why Z28 Josh got that ticket...it went like this

So I, pull over to the side of the road

Police Officer :Son do you know why I'm stoppin you for?

Z28 Josh: Cause I'm young and I'm black and my hat's real low
Or do I look like a mindreader sir? I don't know
Am I under arrest or should I guess some mo'?

Police Officer: Well you was doin fifty-five in the fifty-four;
license and registration and step out of the car -
are you carryin a weapon on you? I know a lot of you are

Z28 Josh: I ain't steppin out of shit, all my papers legit

Police Officer:Well do you mind if I look around the car a little bit?

Z28 Josh: Well my glove compartment is locked, so is the trunk in the back
And I know my rights, so you gon' need a warrant for that

Police Officer: Aren't you sharp as a tack! You should try out
for lawyer or somethin, somebody important or somethin

Z28 Josh: Child I ain't passed the bar, but I know a little bit
Enough that you won't illegally search my shit

Re: Got my 6th Moving Violation today

ummm....papers aren't legit... License plates haven't been registered.... But he was cool about it.

And yes it will effect my insurance, so i figured since i have my lawyer on speed dial i might as well give him a call and see if i can get some kind of regular customer discount or something...hehe

Re: Got my 6th Moving Violation today

I routinely do 80-85 mph the entire way on the drive from here back to my old house (2 hour drive, speed limit 65) and I've never been pulled over, but I'm thinking it's just a matter of time before the rolling dairy cows nab me for a ticket.
