My Bird Is Lacking Power Under Load???

HELP!!! I recently rebuilt my 88 firebird 2.8 V6. New heads intakes...distrib...wires...Injectors...but when i try and drive if i rev it wont go past 4 grand...i shift to second...try to give it gas wont go unless i slowly give it gas...but can never get over 4 grand??? Help!!!????

What about when you have it in neutral? Does it still not go past 4k?

Sounds like a ignition problem to me.

Ya in neutral it does rev passed 4k no problem..i was thinking it was a timing prob..so just played with the distrib a little....took it for a drive still if i gave it to much gas would bog out and hesitate. Now its nocking i may have bent a valve...F__k i hope not. But im gunna reset the valves and timing.Befor i did the rebuild it would hesitate until 4grand then get a gig boost of power now this is worse.
