N/A setup

OK i am trying to get all my stuff together that i will need for my N/A setup. I already have I/H/E and a vtec controller for my car.i need help decinding what brand oif items to go with.

Cams Crower Jun Todda which is beat as far as hp go and will not break or break stuff (going for stage 2)

Pistions CTR ITR JE was thinking 11.1 or 11.3 i hear type R will get you that so was thinking of going with them.

Valves Was thinking of upgrading to get a higher rev and getting a better intake mainfold like maybe skunk2. I hear GSR one sucks with that dual stage crap. but should i do this or keep stock and just go pistons and cams. And what would i need for such an upgrade is yes.

Ok with 11.1 pistons stage 2 cams a street port and polish and I/H/E and chipped ecu and vetec controller what can i expect to see HP wise from a gsr like this.

other question what items would i need i know with cams i need springs and retainers. pistons rings and somthing eles but valves i am lost. thanks for any and all info.

Re: N/A setup

first you do not need to do a port and polish save your money and buy some thing else. vtec heads a re ported enough. But if you were to port DO NOT port the intake side and only widen the exhaust side a little. it is ported enough for na because of vtec. for cams i have nothing but good stuff about toda or jun...Rember when it come to engine building BIGGER IS NOT BETTER. if you choose to port and polish make sure you get flow numbers and build your engine around those. Everything MUST flow together or not flow at all. I have heard of people loosing seriuos power after porting, or like me not gaining anything power wise. now i have to go forced induction to see serious power.
