99 4 door cavi 2.4 liter (i believe)? I am getting mine in a week or two and want to know the stock hp ratings of one.

Im stupid at engines and stuff but Im somewhat sure that the 2.4 is a 4 cyl. so yeah, its a 4 banger.

Why on earth would there be a 2.4L in a 99 4-door? Check the car, unless it's got a nice big red chevy badge instead of the blue one, then it's most likely got the 2.2L OHV (115 horses, methinks)

i think they made z24 four doors in 01 but didn't think so in 99

no in any year since 96, the 2.4L was available as an option for the LS models.

there was only a z24 2 door, but they did make base models in a 4door with the 2.4 (dont know if it was certain years though)

No they did make a four door Z24 in 02, but that was the only year they made them. They only came with a manual transmission too I believe. I forgot where I read that, otherwise I'd show you the link.

no, its not a z24, just a regular cavi. it does have a nice looking stock body kit in it though and it has a tachometer and the speedometer goes up to 110, and I read somewhere that it is a specias thing for the cavi if your car has that, so maby it is the ls model.

Um...did you by chance notice the red badges? Or maybe the lips on the front and rear? LS's DO NOT get red badges...except for that bastard late model 02 with the ecotec....
