Question 99 grand am trac light

I have a 99 grand am se and the trac off light wont turn off . is there any way to reset it . Also i was replacing the rear bearing hubs and started the car with them off and now my abs light is on, i have the new hubs back on now but the light is still on, is there a way to reset that to ? I tried disconnecting the battery but still the same.

Check your connections if you just replaced the rear hubs, one of the sensors may not have connected properly, Are you just getting the trac off light or are you getting ABS as well with the trac off? If you are getting both then it's one of you abs sensors, if you are only getting the trac off then it's your traction system, that would make it one of the front wheels. it should automatically reset after the car is turned off. if not disconnect the battery for about 30-45mins and try it then

Re: 99 grand am trac light

Have you check the pads on the front if they get to low on pad the trac off light may come on. Maybe something isnt right with the rear brakes. when the e brake is engaged then the trac off light will be on. but if the abs light is on maybe a sensor like previously said. hope this helps in some way.
