Whats under your hood?!?!

Anyone have an engine set up they think deserves credit?? As long as you put some sweat and blood into it, i dont care if it's a D15B8 core lol.
LEAVE SOME PICS AND DESCRIPTIONS AND LETS SEE WHAT WE ALL HAVE UNDER OUR HOODS! my pics are my avatar and signature. leave comments, lets recognize the real gearheads out there with imagination!

since no one has replied, i guess ill throw mine up.
DOHC ZC mated to an 89 Si tranny. ZC tranny will be in whenever i get enough money to buy the new axles.

Whats done to it: (and yes im proud to say that i did everything myself)
-Port and polished head also port matched
-3 angle valve job
-dh-racing crank pulley
-b&m fuel pressure regulator
-short ram intake
-header
-exhaust w/ highflow cat
I just rebuilt the entire engine last month because I bent a rod. Rebuild consited of all gaskets, bearings, and new rings. also cleaned everything to like new. Painted the engine bay flat black along with my intake manifold (gloss black).

Re: Whats under your hood?!?!

90 CRX DX w/ a jdm B16 - all the usual bolt-ons:

DC header, hiflow cat, 2 1/4" custom exhaust, ES muffler
AEM CAI
Hondata s200
Skunk2 Intake manifold
Edelbrock 70mm tb (too large!, shoulda got 65mm).
Skunk2 stage 2 cam (not good for street, shoulda got stage 1 or higher compression pistons)
Skunk2 springs and titanium retainers
AEM Cam Gears
unknown brand FPR
Lightweight pulleys and flywheel

It's not pretty, but it's ugly.

I know, my CAI is broken at the bypass - second time it's happened.

JDM D15B non-vtec with DPFI. I tuned it up and got it running sweet, perfect idle, quiet, clean, with almost 36mpg in the city and 40 on the highway.

Re: Whats under your hood?!?!

Hey guys, thanx a lot for the replies. Its awesome talkin to so many diff 4th gen configurations. As for the SOHC peeps keep it up. If you're non vtec, keep it up, if your engine is broken, I will pray for it. If you have Honda's muscle machines D15B's, well good luck with a swap, if you want the d15 to make power (meaning +100hp), you have balls. Think outside of the box guys. Thanx again and keep this thread goin' feel free to ask anyone question about their setup if you are curious, thats y this thread is here.
LONG LIVE 4TH GENS

Re: Whats under your hood?!?!

D16A6 head
-D16Y8 intake manifold
-port matched/polished head & manifolds
-OBX turbo manifold
-2.5" DP/2.5" exhaust w/ cutout
-2.5" charge pipe w/ CCA intercooler

D16Y8 block
-eagle rods
-75.5mm vitara pistons
-oil filter sandwich plate
-7.5lb flywheel
-Clutch specialties unsprung 6-puck

Si trans
-DX final drive
-OBX limited slip

Chassis
-traction bars
-coilovers & koni yellows
-full ES kit + sway bar bushings + trailing arm bushings
-Civic EX front brakes (soon NSX calipers + prelude VTEC rotors)
-adjustable upper ball joints for 1* extra caster

Some other stuff too. But technically it's not under my hood. My hood is against the wall, and the engine won't be back from the machine shop for a couple weeks. They are swamped by the damn circle track guys getting spare engines ready.
