will a shaker fit my 302?
hey guyz, sup, im a new guy here and dont really know too much about engines and stuff. i got a 1966 mustang and just recently got some tri-y headers on it with some flows. i want to get more power for my stang and was wondering if a shaker for a 69-70 boss or mach1 mustang would work with mine. i got a 302 motor and assumed it would but im not too sure so was wondering if anyone could help. also, what other parts should i get to increase the power of my car? any help would be appreciated. thanx.

Re: will a shaker fit my 302?
How much money are you willing to sink into it? Also how solid is it?

rite now i got about 1000 dollars but i get paid in a week so i should have about 1500 and most of the rest of the checks ima b getting will prolly go into the car. car is in good shape, i restored it with my bro and dad a year ago, but now i want to start beefing it up. i used to race it stock behind my house at this strip that was a perfect spot for quarter mile and won, but my car could be faster and while i did win, i wanted to annihilate the guyz i beat. thanx for ur reply

Re: will a shaker fit my 302?
Well before we get into engine mods to speed you up tell me a little more about the car. What trans, rearend gear, ect. I'm going to guess the 302 is a iron headed stock motor with iron 4bbl intake and a 500cfm or so carb? Give me a few more specifics and how long you are willing to have the car down. Such as pulling the motor for mods.
