FOR SALE: '79 Postal Jeep

For sale is my beloved project, a '79 Postal Jeep.

It has a 1.8L 4-cylinder and a 3-speed automatic. It has a Dana rear end, I think its a 44, with 3.73 gears. It is a 2WD, not 4x4. I should mention it has right-hand drive as well.

The body has no visible rust and is very solid, but there are a few touch-up spots on the back that could have some rust underneath.

The engine was rebuilt recently and has many new parts, all the way down to the plug wires. It has a 2-bbl. carb and 80hp. The motor runs great after it warms up and the tranny shifts just like it should. It has manual steering and brakes that work perfectly.

The only thing not functioning is the middle gauge cluster containing the speedometer, gas gauge, and temp gauge, but a little wiring or fuse replacement would get that working in a jiff.

The jeep was originally white/blue, but was repainted, and it looks good. Would make a great project or hauler, or even a daily driver.

PM me if you are interested, the pic is in my sig
