FS: 1987 Volkswagen Golf GL

I have a 1987 Volkswagen Golf GL 1.8L gasoline water cooled 5spd. I'm not sure of the exact mileage but the odometer is stopped at 112k, my guess is around 125 to 130k.

The goods.
It's been recently painted (maaco paint job, missed a few spots etc. etc. doesn't look bad though)
Recently replaced CV joints (maybe a week)
Aftermarket wheels
Cd player
Working heat and a/c (a/c may need recharged)
Near perfect interior
Everything functions normally
New spark plugs
Recent oil change (will do another before it's sold)
Clutch still in good condition

The bads
It's missing the driver side weather strip for the roof (didn't come with the car and I haven't been able to locate one)
It needs an alignment still (I may do this soon because I still need a transportation car for school and work)
It needs a headliner (never came with one)
The paint has a few small imperfections (not noticeable unless up close)
The front bumper mounting clip on the passenger side is broken
The back passenger side door handle is broken (the same as all volkswagens)

All in all a good running car with nothing major wrong. Oversall straight body, and no major dents or dings (the normal tiny ones that you see in a bright light). All around fun car to drive and it looks good. It's painted yellow and a little faded chrome wheels. Price is lowered to $1200 and I'm in the process of doing the alignment. Call me at 330 644 9278 or (cell) 330 212 5602 or email me if you're interested [email protected] at I'll have photos for anyone interested. I'm located in Akron, Ohio 44319.
