H22A4 to JDM H22A? OBDI to OBDII Help
Guys gals......My H22 in my 97 Prelude just seized.....OUT OF NO-WHERE. So you can imagine how happy I am.
I see a lot of H22's on ebay but they are from the 92-96 Prelude. Is there a difference in these engines other than the sensors are OBDI? Can I use one of these in my 97 easily? I think it might just be a matter of swapping the distributor and the OBDII specific sensors.....right? PLEASE HELP. I need an H22A4 for a clean swap. But if I have to go the othe route I want to know what my options are. Thanks all. |

Just make sure your state laws allow you to use older engines in newer cars. But yes, it should work fine if you use the OBD2 parts.
