Re: seat conversion

depends on which brand/model of seat it is. Most aftermarkets have brackets which allow them to bolt onto the stock rails

Re: seat conversion

Alot of seats come with a bracket application that'll make the seat fit the car. But alot of times, I've heard, they don't get you the right ones so be careful.

That's what i'm trying to fine out. the seat that i got is way off. I can put the stock bracket into the seat, but i will have to drill a hole to make it fit.

Re: seat conversion

on 88-89 seat rails, its really easy because the rails bolt to the bottom of the seat. on 90-91 its harder because only one rail bolts to the bottom, the other bolts to the side.

for my 88 hatch, i used the stock rails, and then made brackets to mount it up to the seat
