auto to manual - is it worth it?
I've got a friend who is fed up with her 90 crx cuz of engine problems. She is thinking about just selling it to the junkyard for $250. Its clean and has a nice straight body. Im thinkin about buying it from her, but its got an auto tranny and id rather shoot myself than drive an automatic civic. would this be hard to convert to manual? Its such a good deal id hate to pass it up, but its not worth it if i cant convert it.

If you're willing to spend the $ to do it, then yes it's definently worth it. If anything you could do it and sell it.

Re: auto to manual - is it worth it?
seems like for that price its worth of an engine swap, so you can do the engine and tranny at the same time - if ur not doing a swap i'd abuse the auto till it breaks lol

Re: auto to manual - is it worth it?
Well worth it. Better on gas, WAY more fun to drive, and a lot faster.
When I had an AUTO ZC, a 5 speed Si would keep up with me. The gearing makes up for over 15hp. Its crazy. |
