2002 Aurora Airbag trouble code

My air bag trouble code just came up on the DIC today. Any ideas to what a common problem might be? I really don't feel like dealing with the dealership right now.
Are the sensors known to go bad?

Re: 2002 Aurora Airbag trouble code

The problem could be anything from a bad sensor to a broken wire. Take the car to a shop with the proper equipment to repair it. Dealers usually have the best knowledge of these systems but other shops can work on them too. Do not attempt to work on the system yourself as it could prove to be a disaster and an expensive one at that.
