towing with 94 bravada

i wanted to know how much can u tow with a bravada i wanted to tow my race car it is 3500 pounds i dont know how much the trailer would weigh? and do i need to upgrade anything on the truck to tow anything

I don't tow with mine, I don't trust the transmission. A long time contributor at VMag said he trusted his Jimmy to tow but the transmission gave him much grief.

I used to tow with mine (since sold the snowmobiles and trailer). It never towed that well - I figure the trailer and sleds probably weighed 1500-1800 pounds. The manual says its rated to tow 5000, but I'll agree with Chris - those transmissions aren't the greatest for towing.

If you're talking towing the car to the track 10 miles or so once a week, you might be OK, but I don't think I'd be pulling that kind of weight any distance.
