Help Please: R32 GTS=T Rear Wheel Steer Arm Replacment

Car: 1991 R32 GTS-T
Went for a WOF yesterday and my Rear Wheel Steer Rod Arms, the ball and cup joint, was worn out. Got replacment ones from Repco, and replaced the Right side last night. But when it came to the left side, the end that bolts into the Four wheel steer mechanism wont come undone. It is like something is turning insde the four wheel steer mechanism. Is there anyway of locking this? I talked to my mate who works at a wreckers and he said he has had the same problem, same side.
Any Ideas??

Okay thanks all but I fixed it. dont know how, just went out after posting this thread, gave it one more crack and it come undone for some unknown perculiar reason, maybe it had to do up against the other side. Took me less that ten minutes to replace once it was off, lol. Now for a wheel alignment.
