Exclamation machined Cam on a 99 s-10

Hey fellows i have a 99 s-10 just had my head redone so i thought i would have my cam milled (machined) pr1 smog legal but now i got lose of top end and power what can i do to fix this problem. And please don't say get a stock cam.
