Ya
Ya, The Gas pedal is a bitch. I have a manual, and the most difficult was the gas pedal. To be perfectly honest, I pushed REALLY REALLY hard to get enough of the screw through to get the bolt onto the other side. Once I got a thread or 2, I was able to turn it and tighten it. Luckily I haven't had any problems yet
Did you try drilling a little hole first. If that doesn't work, try a bigger screw.?

well try putting on the gas pedal first, because then it gets harder if you have to work throught the break pedal....just slide it from the top of the pedal down, and then screw them in.....i dunno it didnt seem that hard when i did em

It's easier when you put a piece of wood under the pedals to keep them from moving around.
