GSX lower?
Yea i have a 97 gsx and i am looking to lower it a few inches to get rid of that ugly gap in the wheelwell. I was looking at the springs and also whole coilover kits on ebay and im wondering if those are good. Also, can i just get the springs or do i need the coilover kit? Some of the springs say they fit all model eclipses but some say just two wheel drive and i dont know what makes it like that. Are springs hard to put on and what is the benefits or downside to them. thanks.

Re: GSX lower?
If the springs arent FWD/AWD specific, dont bother with them. The AWD is heavier, espeically in the rear, and requires different spring rates. I believe the perch height is also different between the two models.

Re: GSX lower?
depends on what you want. adjustable height? go with coilovers. non-adjustable height? springs. cheap e-bay coilovers ride like absolute shit and so will springs. springs will sag after awhile if you're just getting cheapo's. you'll also need new shocks after awhile because aftermarket springs/coilovers ruin stock shocks. if i was you i would save up for a decent kit like the tein one mentioned above.
