Just Installed 190lph...AFC adjustments?
I just replaced my stock pump with the Walbro 190 that has been sitting in my closet for the past 6 months. Now, I understand very little about the stock fpr, and fprs in general. Let's say that the 190 outflows the stock fuel pump by 40% (I forget the exact number, but it's something like that). Does this mean that I'm getting 40% more fuel delivered, and my SAFCII settings on high throttle should be altered to show 30 or 40% less air accordingly?
If I'm set for -5% @ 3500 rpm, should me new setting me something like -7 or - 8%, for example? I guess I'm just wondering how much more fuel is being delivered with the larger pump, because I don't want rich knock. I don't see how I could get lean knock at this point, so I'm not worried about that. The car seems to be running fine, and I will tune it as soon as I can find a new battery for my palm to log with. Until then, though, I want to know if I should be doing baseline changes from my previous settings on the stock pump.

Re: Just Installed 190lph...AFC adjustments?
The 190 hardly over runs the fpr at all. I never made any special adjustments for it. Not sure if I had DSMlink then or not though. If pressure was 40% too high (very unlikely, even a 255 is only soemthing like 25% off, ~10 psi out of ~40), its not 40% more fuel. There is a seperate formula to determine the change in fuel flow for a given pressure change. It involves square roots and other such bullshit. It can be found online, I purposely dont mess with fuel pressure, so I have never had a reason to remember it
Short version: you should be fine with the 190. If you remember what your fuel trims were before (and they were stable), you can see if they go negative with the new pump.

Re: Just Installed 190lph...AFC adjustments?
I'm just going to set up the AFC according to Kyle's (and your) guide on RKO. That whole thread is just sweet.
http://www.racingknowledge.org/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1011 It's good to know that I should be alright running my same settings until I can adjust them based on pocketlogger. Thanks for the help, as always
