"The transmissions in those (Eclipse's) are like glass" - J.C.
"They call those (Eclipse's) Menopause Relaxers because older women go buy a car to help relieve themselves during menopause." - S.S.

There are people who are going to talk bad about everything. It's a sign of insecurity. If you like your car, thats all that matters (because you are the one who owns it, pays for it, upgrades it, cleans it etc).

Next time you see him, laugh at him. If he asks why, don't respond. It sounds sadistic but its a great way to prey on insecurity.

lol, um... my transmission is bullet proof... HAHAHA! yeah... mitsubishi sucks because for about 3K in mods, they only run 12's in the quarter... daily driven piece of shit... My Corola can run a 0.008 in the quarter on NAWS... Fuck that kid. tell him to get a body kit, then he'll be worthy or racing... what a queer!

Re: Some sweet eclipse/talon burns wow

Many people who used to love my car, bash it now because... they now drive Civics. I don't want to start anything, but I constantly have a big group of at least 5 or 6 Civics following me home. The snow's starting to melt now, so what they do is skip class and drive down the street as fast as they can, just so they can splash my car. They've even had the nerve to splash me while I'm trying to get in my car, so they soak me and my interior. I could fight them. They're nothing much, but I chose not to. I've spoken a police officer I know, we were chatting. He was sitting in his squad car and I was standing outside of it and we were talking about what evidence we have of them actually doing anything to my car.

God must have been on my side today, because I hear this muffler getting louder and louder. In the corner of my eye I see this dark green Civic burning down the street, at least 90km/h through the residential street. SPLASH. My car, me, AND the police officer get soaked. Sirens go off and the kid's issued a $450 ticket for speeding, danger to public, and some other shit. It hasn't solved anything. It's probably just stirred the pot a bit more. Some days, I really want to beat the shit out of them, but I'd rather let their lives get to them. None of them have jobs.. or much of an education.

Sorry for being a little off topic haha... but yeah, those burns are very weak. Good thing Mitsubishi is a 10 letter word, finding acronyms for that would be a bitch haha. My fav: Hold On! Nearly Done Accerlating! Ahh.. I love you Honda. And before anyone thinks I'm trying to start something again, I'm not. I am well aware that there a jokes and opinions about every company out there, but I think it's good sometimes to laugh at our cars. If someone talks down about your car, they want it. I know a few people who want my car.. one of them actually HIT my car and won't admit to it. Destroyed fender, headlight and bumper.

This thread = weak.

Close it before it turns into a shitfest about domestics and hondas, like they always do.

Screw those dicks. That's funny about the cop though. You have to be a real dumbass to splash a COP while speeding.

Shitsubishi is one I hear a lot. My brother and his friends talk soooo much shit about Mitsus. I was at the shop my brother goes to to get his car tuned and I asked them if they tune DSMs. He laughed and said "Nuoo, they have problems. That and we're not used to working on them." I said "Hey it's only the 7 bolts man. The 6 bolts never crank walk. And they make some pretty good power." He just didn't respond... These cars get the least amount of respect of any, at least from what I get.
