1996 chev corsica v6 3.1 engine codes
I am trying top learn how to turn off engine codes (3.1 V6 engine) without the use of a scanner (some magical combination of various switches etc.).
We are trying to pass the new NY State emissions inspection. I installed new, properly gapped plugs, cleaned the EGR, want to try it now, if we still fail, I will install a new O2 sensor etc. Work my way through the various expenses until we pass. first time on this website so please bear with me if I am slow to respond! Thanks for any and all help. [email protected] |

Re: 1996 chev corsica v6 3.1 engine codes
You need a scan tool to get the codes. Many parts stores will do it for free, and read the code so you know what is wrong with the car. Good Luck.
