ZX-3 and ZX-5 the same size?
OK, I am helping my friend find a new car and she likes the ZX-5 I have shown her. When I looked at the specs page, the ZX-3 and ZX-5 are the same size: I always thought the ZX-5 was stretched out a bit.
Are they the same car, just with shorter doors on the 5-door?

Yeah, the ZX3 has fairly long doors...the ZX5 is essentially the sedan with a hatch instead of a trunk. So yes, they are the same.

OK,thanks. I found some profiles drawings of the two cars and lined them up in paint, and they are the exact same length.
I wanted to turn Revell-Monograms Focus SVT model into a XZ5, but I was thinking I'd have to cut the body and chassis and stretch them out, but now I just have to fill in the existing door lines and scribe new ones.

Yep, don't forget that that kit has different bumpers and side skirts since it's the SVT, if you want to make the base model. You would also have to figure out a way to change the back door panels, as they are pretty different in the two cars.
