Brand New
Hey what's going on. I'm about to purchase a 95 GS-T, it's completely stock and has about 80,000 miles on it. I read around the forums several pages back and looked through the FAQ trying to find an answer to my questions but I couldn't. So here it is. Now I have a 95 mustang gt which is my baby, and what I put most of my money into but I owned an 00 eclipse gt and really enjoyed it and thought it was a good car but I always liked the older 95-99 bodies better. So being the speed demon that I am I found this GS-T for a resonable price so I can have something to drive around while I gut my stang for a complete overhaul. Anyway, being a modder I have to fix up the GS-T even though it's going to be my daily driver, my question however is what is an effective mod/bolt-on to add horsepower for a small amount of money, and in what order should I do my upgrades? I don't know to much about turbocharged engines so I am trying to figure out what I can do to add some quick horsepower with bolt-ons. BEcause honestly a stock 210 hp just isn't enough. I'm not a big fan of four cycliner exhaust kits because, well I hate the rice sound. So is there a kit that maybe gives the hp of aftermarket exhaust without the annoying sound? Any advice would be great, as I really want to just make this car as fast as possible without any major work.

Re: Brand New
Welcome to the light/AF.
For bolt on mods check this out http://dsmtuners.com/tuning-guide/2gturbo/ To learn some stuff start reading forums and read lots of them. Exhaust's usualy sound ricy when its just a mufler weled on or something gay like that.

Re: Brand New
Well, first
Change the plugs and wires(just to be on the safe side) next order an air filter(K&N is cheap) Exhaust should be next(I ordered mine on ebay, search eclipse 3" exhaust) it came with a silencer and does not sound ricey at all Then should come the turbo upgrade cheap and good would be a used 14b with 1g bov, 190 fuel pump, ss oil feed line, 1g return line(this is the cheap way)
