electric fan question
i have a 91 gt, stock. The fan is cracked in several places (plastic fan) and ive been told that it feels like the fan clutch is starting to go as well. I can get the fan and clutch for about $65, or I can get an electric fan for about $50. Will the electric cool as well as the stock fan. Basically my question is, can I save a little cash and get the electric or do i need the stock fan?
By the way, whole reason I noticed all this was because it started running hot, I already replaced thermo just to make sure. thx!!!! |

Re: electric fan question
With the electric fan you will need a temp switch to control it.
For the $15 price difference I would go with the original setup (it lasted well over 10 years) and not have to deal with making any electrical modifications, or mounting modifications. |
