Camaro Concept

Never enter contests. Don't feel like they prove much.....My choice didn't get the most votes so I feel vindicated in that statement. But the contest did get me thinking about trying one. As I said its not easy to update a great design much less improve on one. I felt like a "concept" drawing should exhibit at least three views. This drawing is just mainly to show the concept. Little attention has been given the glass or wheels; just basic body shape. What I found most difficult was co-ordinating the front auxillary view with the side view.[IMG][/IMG]

You make great points!
More than one view seems necessary to fully get a design across.
I like that your camero looks classic in a similar way to the new
mustang. I bet if they reintroduce it, it will have this look.
Nice design!

Re: Camaro Concept

you are right contests do not prove anything...there not really supposed to it is something you either do for fun and/or recognition it gives you something to sort of stretch your imagination, ability, thinking, etc. which it seemed to do for you...

i like the retro aspect of it you retained a lot of the original flava of the car but it does not seem to introduce anything new but that could be because at this stage your drawings are a little fuzzy,it would be nicer if you refined it more

Re: Camaro Concept

Cool concept! I'd like to see it in color!

imo, the contests we have here are great. Every new contest is a new challenge, you deal with a kind of car you haven't thought about before. It's also great to compare to others, to see what they thought about it. You can't win thousands of $$$, but you can win skills in designing and presenting a new product. You can see what people like and what they dislike.

Only the time to finish a project is very short. But that keeps it exciting.
