2000 Taurus SE Computer Module

I know this has been asked and I looked in all the places mentioned in the threads found here but I'm having no luck locating this module that has the key for keyless entry on the back of it. Could be because I have no idea what im looking for too!

I just purchased this car yesterday and there is no card with the number on it with the owners materials so I need to check the computer module I guess.

Can someone that has this car tell me where it can be found.

If you get waaaay down on the floor in front of the front driver's side seat and look up you will see a little white box, possibly encircled with electrical tape. It will be toward the right (passenger) side under the driver's side dash, above the accelerator pedal linkage. Some have found that the code is partially covered by the electrical tape, but even if you only get 3 digits it won't take you too long to guess the rest. They also used to put the code on a sticker in the trunk but I'm under the impression that they don't do that anymore.

Thanks a lot. I was looking under there earlier on my lunch break but wasnt sure what I was looking for lol. Ill go bakc out and look for a white box and see if I can see it.

I didnt see a white box, or any box above the gas pedal. Where else might it be =(
