Mitsu 2005 Monte trans kit from S27

First of all sorry Phil because this doesn't belong here.
So affter few rumors it is official.

Time to spend some money
It will probably use EVO VII as base, correct me if I am wrong.

You know, when you add in the cost of the donor kit and the paint, you'll be spending about as much as Mitsubishi is apparently spending on the real cars......

Very interesting. For that price it probably includes a whole new bodyshell and possibly engine parts.

Re: Mitsu 2005 Monte trans kit from S27

Thanks for the pics aeroace.
Surely there has to be more to it than that? The rear end is quite different, are they going to put that in the transkit too? I'd also imagine the interior, particularly the dash, will need updating from the early Evo VII version in the Tamiya kit. I'm assuming they intend to cast those head and taillight lenses in clear resin, wonder if that will work?
For nearly 10,000 yen you'd expect a pretty thorough job.

Re: Mitsu 2005 Monte trans kit from S27

there still have lots of time before starting to sale,i wonder if they would cast the rear part of the car ,but im sure that the transkit will include no details at all about engine.......

Re: Mitsu 2005 Monte trans kit from S27

Eh...why don't they just make a dam body. If someone is going to pay dam near $90 for a transkit, they's prolly be the same people that would pay like $175 for a full kit. And it would still be easier then this. Nice recon work Sasa ans Aeroace.
