97 SE adjusting Parking Brake
Having a problem adjusting my parking brake. Actually, having a problem finding the adjusting nut.
Looked in the manual for the quick rundown, went to find the adjusting nut like it says near the right rear tire and it isn't there. The cable from the brake lever is coming down the drivers side of the car. So I looked there and couldn't find anything. Is this another case of where the manual is wrong for my model? |

Re: 97 SE adjusting Parking Brake
Possibly not, my Chilton's says it auto-adjusting. If it seems to be slack,
1] Check rear shoes for adjustment 2] Cable may be stretched past limit, requiring replace Chilton's is pretty thin about it, but the above is stated to apply to 93-98 rides. |
