Upgrade costs

I'm, eventually wanting to get headers, hi flow cat converter and decent cat back exhaust. I found great deals on ebay and just wondering how much I should expect to pay for installation and where I should take my car and parts to? Will any shop do all these or do I have to go to a muffler/exhaust shop, then somewhere else for header installations?

Are high flow cat converters legal, I don't want to buy it if no one will install it due to emmision standards. Thanks.

Re: Upgrade costs

Moving's not much of an option right now, but if anybody's had experience paying for installations please let me know. I found all parts on ebay, I just don't have a garage, time or experience with this type of work. Thanks.

Re: Upgrade costs

Dude just do it yourself you dont need a garage and you barely need experience, just a few ratchets and sockets and jackstands are the only things you need, you'll save alot of money

^^^I agree - Better (more expensive) headers have a better fit and are easier to install. You'll still smash a few knuckles and cuss a lot while you're installing, but it's not that difficult to do. It just takes some sweat and elbow grease. Otherwise I'd guess about $150-$300 for labor to install the header and the rest.
