Supercharger

Does any one know where i can get a supercharger for a 3000gt sl
i Know its not commen because most of them have turbos, but my friends cuzin has an sl with a supercharger that spins the tires threw 4 gears. My friend couldnt tell me much about it, but i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a supercharger for my car.

I wouldnt brag about something like that, a performance enthusiast will just say its stupid cause you cant get any traction.
My car spins through 4th too, just gotta get the shitty tires on it and viola.

you can get the roots type SC at www.boosthead.com

if you want the centrifigual type (vortec unit) go to www.rippmods.com

if you see the GTpro version with the short jackshaft stay away from it. those jackshafts break easy, very weak bearings I guess.

let us know if you install it and get yourself some Yokohama AVS-100s. no point in making power if you cant get it down.

Looking at that Eaton Supercharger on the Thomas NIght site I think you'd be better off with the rippmods sds. It may cost more but it'd be worth it for bigger power gains.

Thanx For the replies im not looking to install one right now in like a month or so i will have enough money. Especially because my insurcance is just going up for racing my friend's firebird. But sometime in the near future i plan on it.
