300zx MAF on sr20det

i have it all wired up correctly... all bolted up.. car runs like poop with maf pluged in... but runs much better with it unplugged... is programming different with the maf? how do i fix this problem?
also, i thought i burnt my 300zx maf up so i have a skyline maf on the way that looked identical to the 300zx maf..anyone have any knowledge of that maf? do i have to get a safc? anything else i could do?

You need to either get an ECU tune, S-AFC, stand-alone, something to control it. Same if you get bigger injectors.

ya you need a way to control it, its not a cheap mod mostly

i used an SAFC2

the reason is that the voltage is different between that maf and the stock one

A Standalone or a Tuned ECU would be better though. an SAFC only has two adjustment maps if I remember right.

Also Im not 100% sure but I think the Skyline and The 300ZX share MAFs

Hmmm...

What about a 300ZX MAF on a KA24DE? Im figuring youll have to use a different ECU but is it just matching up the wires also?
