Question fuel filter

I just replaced mine... figured why not since they were on sale for 10 bucks.. anyways, by changing what can i expect to get out of it as in terms of my engine running better or something?

Well a plugged up filter will keep gas from getting through easy thus not running right.Changing it will make it get gas easy and run right.As far as major performance.................sorry not gonna happen.

ya i wasnt looking for any performance.. just wanted to know if it would make any difference in my engine running

Yes, of course it will.

Change fuel filters every 30,000-40,000 miles.

well i have 50 000 miles on my 98, so i figured it was time to change it

Besides it's good preventative maintence considering the cost, and hassel of replacing the fuel pump
