S-15 Importation-Where can i Get One?

First off let me say that if this has been asked before im sorry for bringing it back up. My question is simple, Who can I get to import me a S-15? Any help is greatly appriciated. Thanks and sorry again for bringing it back up if it had been asked before.

if you are just an average joe off the street that doesnt have connections or doesnt own a shop, just forget about it. unless you have a ship and you sail to japan and buy it and come back, and then when you get back you have to make it legal. good luck with that one.
and s15's in america ARE NOT LEGAL, period.

Well my dad and a friend of mine be opening a shop so how would that help?

i think a shop can own the title to it just not an individual. since the car was never made in america theres lots of red tape but it can be done.

But would the shop having the title make it street legal though, cause i know there pretty much Illegal in the US and what exactly would i need to do if I did put it in the name of the shop? Any info would greatly greatly help.

from what i have heard and know it is a big pain to do this. though it can be done it is very costly and i assume some kind of connections are needed. for a car to be legal in the USA it must pass certain restrictions. i think it is mainly safety, but i could be wrong. so bascially, if you were to get an s15 over here you would have to find a company that knows and is willing to take the s15 and make it pass all those guidlines set by the US. plus, i think couple of them need to be crash tested, which means those cars are totaled afterwards. or if you do import one you only drive it on the track, but that ins't street legal obviously. goodluck on it if you do manage get one over here going to cost a lot of money. s15 is a nice car and all, but the amount of money you would most likely spend you should just buy a cheaper car and invest the money into it.

anyways, you can do it. The local shop here imported a r34 skyline all by themselves. They drive it non stop. No motorX here. i dont know how they did it. But there site says that they can import cars. So i dont know, im not to in to importing so iv never went up there to get the nitty gritty.

The ONLY way to drive an S15 LEGALLY in the US is to have it registered in the name of a business. There is NO OTHER way. They HAVE TO HAVE CORPORATE sponsorship.
