suspension squeaks
A couple of weeks back I installed H&R sport springs (with stock shocks) on my car. Since the beginning if I hit a patch of bumpy asphalt they sqeak a bit in the rear. I let it go at first, because I figured the springs needed time to settle, but i think it's been long enough! It's not loud, but it is definitely audible. Is this normal? Was there something in the install I should be concerned about? Would a spray lubricant work? Please help me drown this annoying rat. Thanks in advance. Last edited by dome; 04-09-2002 at 02:39 PM. |

Did you remember to put in the rubber circle piece that goes above where the spring sits at the very top of the assembly? It might be that because of metal touching metal and rubbing and causing it to squeak. just my $0.02 on it tho.
