E38 Won't run after warm
I have a 98 740il. When it gets warm, itdies. You can restart it but after a while it dies again. eventually it dies as soon as it starts up, but always starts. The Check ingine light has been on for a while but I just recently got a reader. The faults in order are: "Electric thermostat control final stage", "PreCat O2 sensor response time cyl. 1-4", and "Camshaft position sensor". Do I just need to replace these parts, or do they mean I need to fix somthing that is causing them to read bad? Would these be somthing I could repair myself? (New to BMW but do most of my other car repairs)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
