I am looking into this car but am told it needs a front differential. What am I looking at for repair cost? What would a bone yard differential run me?... ballpark

Re: '95 JGC Front Differential

Replacing the axle can be a d.i.y. job with some help if you're handy. At one of the local junkyards they're asking for between $900 and $1400 for the whole assembly. It will depend on your gear ratio and whether you have the CV type slip yoke, or the Universal Joint yoke.

Call around your area for the best price.
