Parking lights and gauges wont turn on HELP!!!

first off this is not my car this is my sisters and she has posted the problem on vvti.net which got no responses so were still without gauge lights and parking lights, heres her post...
I have projectors in my 03 corolla and my brother was trying to install an HID kit. We spliced into the turn signal wiring for the power and ground. They worked for about a minute and then turned off & wouldn't turn back on. We switched out the 10a fuses in the headlight spots for 15a ones for the HID kit because we blew one out, but still nothing. We put the old H3 bulbs back in and now the headlights turn on, but the parking lights and gauges won't light up.We checked the gauge fuse & all other fuses, they're fine. Lowbeams, highbeams, hazzards and blinkers work, but not the gauges or parking lights. Anybody have any ideas on this?? Thanks for your help!!!

try putting back the 10 amp fuses and then making sure that the ground is a good ground and check to see if it is arcing with the body...if all else fails try to give it a little love kick/punch...that always works...

well i just rewired everything and switched out every fuse for a new one and somhow it works lol thanks for reading or trying
