1g manual tranny swap to 2g 7blt engine

a few months ago i messed up second gear in my car,i found a tranny from an awd talon 1g.my car is a 2g,we tried bolting the damn thing up to day and it wont fit.does anybody have ant ideas on this its hard to find parts 4 2gs in the bahamas

1g tranny will not work on a 2g, since the 2g has 3 motor mounts on the tranny, while the 1g has them on the block. So there are no front/rear mounts on the 1g tranny You have no choice but to find a 2g tranny. Good luck.

if i were you i would put a 6 bold engine in it and tranny it is a better set up any way. lots of people do it but it is not cheap so its up to you

Still cant use the 1g tranny, 6 bolt or not.
