Re: 5th injector

I would have gotten bigger injectors and not deal with the pain.... Use LOCKTIGHT and not teflon tape. Cody tou just got lucky with the tape...

You need to know something. Most guys that work on Turbo Dodges go the cheapest route possible. That is what adding a 5th injector is, cheap. Just do it right and get bigger injectors.

Just my opinion.

Re: 5th injector

Larger injectors don't work well alone. You need to buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and an FMU. You need to turn down your fuel pressure so the ECU doesn't see anymore fuel while not in boost, this way you will maintain your current fuel mileage and throttle response. The FMU takes over when in boost too add the fuel.
The only problem with that method is cost, a 5th injector setup will cost you like $40 total VS several hundred dollars.
If all you want to run is 4-5 PSI than a 5th injector will work for you. No it's not the cleanest setup but it just plain works, thats all you should really care about unless you are building some kind of show car. I even ran a 6th injector at one point on my car, but you need a good fuel pump to supply that like a 255 LPH walbro.
