AF meet in San Diego!

C'mon San Diego peeps we cant let them northerners from smellA have all the fun up there, we need to have our own meet up in Daygo! My suggestion is to all meet up and have either our own tent at a Qualcomm Stadium (go chargers) autocross event which is like every few weeks, or our own lineup at the friday night drag races www.racelegal.com

So everybody put a link for this thread in your profile and lets try to set something up!! American and Imports both welcome.

Hey, my name is Gino and im in for anything. Im in San Diego too, Miramar to be exact and I was going to qualcomm last year to race a bit but I've done some more to my car and want to go see where im at now. Just drop a line and let us know when you want to meet up.
I wasnt to big into the idea of a car meets cause im into all go and no show so my car looks kinda stock on the outside. except for rims and a big ass intercooler in the front grill. you can see my ride in the WWW link at the bottom of my post. peace to all and get this meet going...

They recently shut down Qualcomm...funding issues. Week before last they turned us away at the gates... any updates?

alright guys, there is a cut in funding but if you check out there web page: www.racelegal.com you will see they are trying to get it opened again and they have tentative dates and all. they are asking for everybody to email the bigwigs of the city and to ask them to refund the drag races again.
spread the word on this so we can get racing once again.

i dont know how many of y'all go to autocross but if the friday night races dont work out we could always meet up at a saturday autocross

i thought they werent going to open till they got some money but some friends of mine said they went and saw some races for a while. I think they are charging more to get in though.
According to the schedule they are open this coming friday ( feb 18)
I already decided im going to go with like 2 friends.

looks like qualcomm wont be open for a minute. any ideas? aint there a track up in escondido/temecula area? I've only heard there was one, dont know where its at.

There's the Barona Drag strip too. It'd be sick to meet up there, cause it's like 10 mins. tops from my place! Also, looks like this weekend is on for qualcomm, according to the site. 6pm-12am.

Barona Drag Strip?? that sounds like it has potential. if its on the reservation then we can gamble/bet openly right? can you post some more information on that
