Can I run NOS w/ my turbo??

hi,,,i have a honda civic ex that was rebuilt with spr pistons (9.0:1) ,eagle rods, and a crower cam. I just ordered a fuel rail, pump, regulater, and fuel filter. I will send my ECU out to JET to get it reprogramed. So soon my motor will be complete!!!!
But the question i have is this. With all that done, and me running 9-10 psi turbo,,,CAN I ALSO HAVE NOS. if so, WET or DRY??? WHAT COMPANIES????

thanx for ur time

all you experts out there don't bitch at me if im wrong but i've heard that you can run nitrous with a turbo; like if you have a big turbo you could spray early to help get it spooled up. im not sure if you'd want to go wet or dry, but since im sure you're not gonna want a big shot you might just go dry. thats just my .02...you can kick me in the balls if im completely wrong

I'm not sure about hondas but i know that supras needed to do that just to get there turbo spooled quicker in only the 1/4 mile strip cause there turbo kicks late.

you need a wet shot & get bigger injectors...330cc fuel injectors & a wet NOS kit.

Actually you're right. The NOS helps the turbo to spool quicker. I would go with Venom or ZEX. I heard NOS was overpriced and overrated.

yes, turbo and nitrous is a possibility. If you get an AEM fuel rail, you can fit bigger injectors in it and it also comes with an extra port that you can install nitrous directly through the rail. You can't run a nitrous dry system with turbo because you inject the nitrous-oxide through the intake with that system, which doesn't work with turbo. Also, I'm not sure if ZEX makes a kit that is a wet kit, and the thing I don't like about ZEX kits is they only spray when the "full throttle indicator" is on. In other words the pedal is to the floor. I'm not sure if there is a way to change that or not. If NOS is over-priced, I would go with VENOM. Venom's system is expensive with the built-in computer management system though. Hope that helps out

The new Venom kit with the computer management has an option to where to can change how the nitrious to shot. You can choose: push button, full throttle, or rpm timed specific. I was looking at that Venom kit and I forgot how much it cost.

He is right if you want to run both then it is best to get most of that done before even trying it. If you want your car to last. I have a friend out here that was running NOS and a Greddy Turbo with a few mods and he was running 10psi and he did just fine. I don't get it you guys say that NOS is over-priced so get Venom. Venom is one of the most expensive Nitrous kits on the market. Those kits cost as much as a Greddy Turbo. NOS is way cheaper then Venom.
