Ford '40 pick-up

It's been a while since I've posted some of my work.

This time it's a 1/24 Ford '40 pick-up, from Monogram I guess.
Actually it's a rebuild.
My brother build it a year ago but messed it up verry badly.
Everything went wrong, from painting to glueing.
It was on his shelf.......ready to throw it in the garbagecan.

But every time I looked at it, the Ford smiled at me. And a few months ago I decided to re-do it. So this is the result.

Only changes are: Wheels from Hoppin Hydro's, lowered, seats from VW Golf3.
Color is bright yellow(I guess) with 3 coats of pearl clear(Tamiya).

Well, this was my first rebuild....

Thx for watching. All comments are welcome.

Holy shit that´s beautiful! Really nice color, I bet it has to be seen in reality to see the pearl-effect though. As for the rims, somehow, the word "bling-bling" just does´nt cut it...

Re: Ford '40 pick-up

Looks great.
I remember building this kit when I was like 9 years old, but messed it up badly and then made my first customization on the kit. Chopped the roof and lowered the suspension. Must try to find one again...
It's a nice kit with opening doors etc.
