92 Sable engine problem. Pleas ehelp

I just bought a 92 3.8 ltr Sable. the guy I bought it from said it ran 3 years ago when it was parked but it was not started ever since and sold it in not-running condition. I got it home and replaced the starter, battery, distributor, plugs, air filter, PCV, and the engine oil. I go to start it and it will nto turn over. On a different board it was suggested I put ATF in the cylanders to loosen up any rust in there, so I did, and tried to crank it with no spark plugs in, but it still will not turn over. I'm afraid of ruining my new starter which was expensive, so I'm worried to keep trying. The previous owner did say the engine blew a head gasket and it had been repaired, and the car was running before it was parked. WHen I go to start the car the digital dash shuts off as does any other electrical accessories in the car and all I get is a single click (the starter gear engauging) other then that, nothing. I tried to jumpstart it also, with same results. Any help or suggestions appriciated.

Remove the sparkplugs and belts and try to turn the motor by hand. Make sure all the pulleys can be turned by hand. If you can't turn the motor by hand, then the motor is seized or locked up. Removing the valve covers shouldn't be a big deal. Look to see if a valve dropped and is preventing the motor from turning. If the rings have seized, I would use a penetrating oil like PB Blaster.
