engine swap

Would a h22a type S (220hp, Japan only) bolt up in a 92 si? if not whats the next best thing. also would the tranny need to be swapped with the engine. thanks

It should be a direct bolt up. Your H23 tranny will fit but it has different gearing than an H22 tranny. H22 gears are shorter for better acceleration - H23 gears are taller.

Yea since you have the money for the Type S you should have enough for the LSD tranny so I would suggest getting that along with the motor.
