just a little update...

i sold my rolex, i got $4600 to blow, so today i ordered springs, struts, new tie rods, and front stabillizers (yea, not performance i just needed them) then i got a spearco intercooler, turbonetics turbo, racing seats, a short throw shifter, sway bars, and im having my friend machine and weld some subframe connectors,

does anyone know where i can get new rear end gears for my car?

Re: just a little update...

sweet jesus dude, thats quite the bit of mods! will definitely be looking forward to seeing the end result... as for the rear end gears, i'm not too sure, but you can pull and lsd out of a '9/88 z31 if you don't have one already, other than that i dunno who would make aftermarket rear end's... good luck on the project!

Re: just a little update...

Screw the rolex!...just gimme the cash so I can "blow" it on my VG30ET...

My parents think I'm crazy...I'm paying ~50 bucks a month just to keep an engine that's in a kazillion pieces in storage so I can make even a BIGGER mess out of it before I start putting it back together. Good. Screw it. They just don't get it. This is the soul out of my last Z31...of which I only paid about what I'd charge someone to get the engine and tranny for anyway...and the soul of my next Z. I'd spend all the money I possibly could on the engine. Right now, I'm busy spending money on other important things...mostly musical equipment (yes...for those of you that didn't know, I've been a musician for about 9 years now) and student loans (yes...I also have a degree in culinary arts that I have to pay for...~30,000 is kinda tough to pay for sometimes). These are very expensive hobbies...still deciding which I think I could make more money off of...

I'd give my right nut to be able to make a living playing music...that would be my dream. For those who care, I can play bass, guitar (have a week long guitar seminar to go to at Berklee College of Music in august) and I can play mandolin...and I could probably make due on a Ukalele.
