problem with shiftkit...

My shiftkit on my 04 cavalier 4 speed auto 2.2L eco is being kinda funny...occasionaly it is not shifting on time and overreving not that big of a deal if im careful but making sure its not a huge problem..another thing is my check engine light comes on and off if theres a way to stop please let me know otherwise can someone tell me how to unplug it? Thanks

Oh and i know the check engine light is because of the shiftkit

Are you sure you tap'd into the correct wires and were the good splices?

Im pretty sure it was the right wires and i had good splices now its kinda bogging down when i take off..when it finally speeds back up after about 5 seconds it feels like im on the bottle really wierd, im just keeping off til i can figure out whats up
